Realme already set an official India announcement date for the Realme 9i 5G. The phone will arrive on August 18, and its design and some specs were already shared through official channels. Now, a new extensive leak fills in the rest of the gaps showing the device from every angle and detailing its hardware.
The Realme 9i 5G sports a 6.6-inch, FullHD+, 90Hz LCD display with 180Hz touch sampling. As already revealed by the company, it is powered by a Dimensity 810 chipset along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable via a dedicated micro SD card slot. Ram is also “expandable” with up to 5GB of extra virtual memory via “Dynamic RAM Expansion”.
In the camera department, the Realme 9i 5G packs a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP depth sensor and a third dedicated macro cam. On the selfie side – is an 8MP snapper inside a waterdrop notch. The phone boots Android 12 out of the box and is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging. It also has a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack and dual SIM support.
As mentioned, the Realme 9i 5G is available in two memory tiers and can be had in either Gold or Black colors. Both of these feature a shiny “Laser Light Design” on the back reminiscent of the surface of a CD.
